Biweekly Update: Friday, 16 September 2016

You may have seen that all of the tag and author pages were updated to include lists of most-viewed and highest-rated stories for that author or tag. This week, I added a new list, most recent chapter updates, to every author and tag page. This gives you the most recently added chapter for the author or tag. And since it's pulled from the Update History page, it includes the logline description for that chapter as it originally appeared in the posted update. You can check out an example of how it looks on my author page.

As with the earlier author/tag page lists, my own motivation for doing this was partly to help you folks navigate the site and give you features you've asked for, and partly so that I could see what stories of my own were doing well and which were due for a new installment. Naturally, of course, once I'd set up this list to delineate just which stories were due for my attentions, I chose this week to launch an entirely new story instead! I've been trying to continue stories rather than start new ones, given how my author page is lousy with orphaned chapter ones. But at the end of the day, you write what's in your head. I'm keeping up my streak of writing for every update, and that's largely down to the people who've supported me on Patreon—that encouragement has kept me motivated to keep up my contributions to this unique community we have here.

And now the update. Look at the size of that thing! That's sixteen chapters of growth and hotness, and a lot of those are hefty installments. I just checked, and the total volume of this week's updates is on the order of 82 thousand words. That's an entire novel. In addition to continuations of some of our most seminal stories (so to speak) and new stories from authors we already know, we have several stories from new writers, including one from an artist whose work I've long admired, Marquis de Rent—and it turns out his prose is as impressive as the men he draws.
